How we collect and use your personal data

The Starsygn Astrology Platform provides astrological charts and reports, which by their nature require personal information about the chart subject (typically you, but sometimes a third party with their consent). What we collect depends on how you use the Service.

When you only browse public pages of the Service without creating a chart or signing up, we collect only the minimum information necessary to operate the site (such as request logs and a cookie that remembers your selected language).

When you create a chart — whether for a free preliminary reading or a paid report — we collect the chart subject's name (or label), date of birth, time of birth, and place of birth. This data is necessary to compute the chart and produce any reading.

When you sign up for an account, we collect your email address. We use email-based sign-in links for authentication, so we do not store passwords.

When you purchase a paid Service, payment is processed by our payment provider. We do not see or store your full payment-card details; we receive only what is needed to associate the payment with your account, such as a transaction reference and the email address tied to the order.

We use the data we collect to provide the Service, generate reports, deliver reports to you (including by email where applicable), provide customer support, and meet our legal and accounting obligations.

Contacting you

We may use your contact email address to communicate service-related information, provide support, and send product updates and announcements. You can choose to stop receiving non-essential communications from us at any time, except for essential notifications like billing and account-security alerts.

Your responsibilities

Because the Starsygn Astrology Platform uses email-based sign-in links rather than passwords, anyone with access to your email account may be able to access your Starsygn account. It is your responsibility to keep your email account secure, including by using a strong unique password and enabling two-factor authentication where your email provider supports it.

If you submit chart data on behalf of a third party, you are responsible for obtaining that party's consent to its use for the purpose of generating reports.

Your right to have your data erased

Starsygn Astrology Platform account owners have the right to request permanent removal of their account and associated data from our systems. To exercise this right, contact us at starsygn-privacy@sygn.net. Some data may be retained for the period required by applicable law — for example, accounting records associated with a paid transaction.

Cookies and tracking

The Starsygn Astrology Platform uses cookies that are essential to operate the Service, such as a cookie that remembers your selected language and a session cookie used to keep you signed in. We do not engage in or support cross-service tracking, and we do not sell your personal data.

Consent for underage enrollment

Users under the age of 13 may not use our Services without parental or legal custodian consent.

Breach notification

In the event of a breach affecting your personal data, we will promptly disclose the nature of the risk and provide transparent information about the events, in accordance with applicable law.
